Nurse Manager:
To provide supervision and direction the volunteer medical team, to carry out the goals and priorities established by the Executive Director, and the Medical Director. Nurse Manager will be responsible for two clinics, one in San Diego, and the other in Santee. The Santee clinic will move to our new facility in El Cajon in 2026.Position Title:
Nurse Manager Qualifications:
Expresses full agreement with corporation's Statement of Principle, Mission Statement, and Statement of Faith. Complies with the policies and procedures of the clinic. Is dependable, stable, and capable of following through on commitments. Has a sincere desire to reach out to abortion-vulnerable and abortion-minded women. Maintains consistent life-affirming philosophy and would never refer or advise a woman to have an abortion. (When a situation arises where a woman's life is at risk, the clinic advocates taking measures to preserve her life, hoping that the woman and her child can both is saved.) Respects confidentiality. Holds a current Registered Nurse's License in good standing with the State of California Medical Board.Preferred Qualifications:
Holds a certification in the use of an Ultrasound. At least one year experience as a nurse. Bi-lingual -Spanish or Arabic Responsibilities:
The Nurse Manager provides support and care to the clients and maintains professional standards of care, following the ANA Code of Ethics. Under the general supervision of the Medical Director and Executive Director, the Nurse Manager is responsible for immediate supervision of a wide variety of clinic functions, planning and performing direct and indirect nursing interventions, and is responsible for supervising, organizing, planning, assessing and monitoring the medical services provided by the Pregnancy Care Clinic. The Nurse Manager also works in conjunction with physicians, nurses, and advocates to assure that patients are receiving the best medical, nursing, and psychosocial care possible.Reports To:
Executive Director for operations and Medical Director for medical services.Supervises:
Immediate supervision of clinic functions and monitors medical services.Time Commitment:

Management:
Develops, maintains, reviews and updates clinic policies and procedures. Maintains a working knowledge of nursing methods, principles and practices in relation to the prevention and treatment of disease, safety and infection control, clinical systems, supplies and equipment. Assures compliance with infection control guidelines. Organizes, directs, supervises, and evaluates professional and ancillary personnel. Teaching and Advancing PCC's religious mission Convey to all clients the love and care PCC has for them as an expression of service to God Present the Gospel with the love of Jesus, respecting the client's ability to hear it Respecting PCC's religious mission, determine the services are offered (and not offered), and the manner in which those services are offered. Educate and answer questions for clients in a Godly perspective of respecting the life of the unborn Make the case for sex as God designed from a moral, scientific, and healthy living perspective Train and lead volunteers in each of the aboveNursing Care:
Oversees nursing services in clinic.Provides nursing care:
assesses patient needs and makes nursing judgements, which reflect safe nursing practices. Maintains accurate records, care-plans and follow-through on physician's orders Assures accurate implementation of physician's orders and advises physicians of patient's progress and changes in condition. Assists physicians with exams and treatments as needed. Provides education for patient and family to develop an understanding of their health condition. Oversees patient follow-up per patient care-plan and standardized procedures. Oversees administration of pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, STI Testing, and pre-natal vitamins.Staff Development:
Recruits qualified medical team volunteers to meet the needs of the clinic. Oversees training and orientation of the clinic medical team volunteers. Participates in establishing and conducting in-service meetings. Conducts medical team conferences and discussions in evaluating the clinic services, policies, procedures and protocols.Review:
The Nurse Manager is reviewed on an annual basis by the Executive Director and the Medical Director.Job Types:
