A Charge Nurse supervises and supports a nursing staff, while also treating a limited number of patients. Evaluates other nurses and acts as an educational resource for nurses. Provides guidance on administering care to new patients or those with special needs and answers questions regarding protocol. Directs admission, discharge and general flow of patients.

The Clinical Charge Nurse RN is responsible for the organization, supervision, coordination, and daily operation of all nursing services in accordance with Federal, State, CMS, AAAHC, and facility policies and procedures. Collaborates with the Administrative Director to ensure clinical operations, regulatory compliance, patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention standards are maintained. Oversees patient care activities throughout the perioperative continuum while serving as the clinical resource for all nursing staff. Maintains competency to function in the Operating Room, Pre-Operative, and PACU as needed and provides direct patient care during staffing shortages or operational needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Supervisory, charge, or management experience in an outpatient or inpatient Surgery Center preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, computer, and organizational skills required. Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS required; CNOR or CNAMB preferred. Must be able to work an Alternative Work Schedule. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00-$65.00 per hour , with actual compensation based on experience, licensure, skills, qualifications, and market factors.
