Qualifications RN License Full Job Description Role:
Nurse Manager responsible for overseeing a hospital unit to ensure safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate nursing and ancillary staff, fostering a high-performing team. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety, satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Conduct daily rounds, collaborate with physicians and staff, and coordinate care plans. Manage staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure optimal patient flow and staffing levels. Monitor clinical outcomes through audits, data analysis, and incident reports, and address operational issues. Promote open communication, staff development, and adherence to standards of care. Participate in emergency preparedness and maintain a safe, operational environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in nursing; Master's preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Minimum of five years' technical nursing experience; leadership experience preferred. Strong clinical, supervisory, and communication skills. Ability to exercise independent judgment, lead teams, and manage operational functions.
