Weekly pay About the Role ShareSTAFF is hiring two Charge Nurses (LVN or RN) for a skilled nursing facility in Ripon, CA serving an adult and senior resident population. In this role, you provide unit-level nursing leadership under the direction of the Director of Nursing, delivering direct clinical care while supervising Certified Nursing Assistants and ensuring quality of care according to facility policies. Charge Nurses lead the unit in the absence of administrative or supervisory staff, including during emergencies. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a direct pathway to a permanent role at the facility after a successful placement period. What We Offer Weekly pay

  • earn extra when you refer a fellow healthcare professional Dedicated recruiter support before, during, and after your assignment Extension opportunities and access to new assignments nationwide What You'll Do Monitor resident comfort, safety, and clinical status; take and document vital signs to detect deviations from normal Administer medications accurately and on schedule; document immediately per established procedures Carry out physician treatment orders, including dressing changes, catheter care, and ordered interventions Receive and transcribe physician telephone orders; notify physicians per facility policy Count narcotics at shift start and end; attend shift report Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants; assign bowel care and direct resident-specific nursing tasks Monitor meal intake and bowel schedules; maintain compliance with care plan documentation Respond to emergencies using nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocols Maintain accurate resident records including daily charting, weekly summaries, skin assessments, and nursing care plans Provide end-of-shift report to oncoming nursing personnel covering resident condition, orders, medications, and activities Assist in writing CNA performance evaluations under direct supervision Maintain cleanliness of the nurses' station and medication cart What You Bring•Required Active and current California Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing Graduate of a California State Certified RN or LVN program Ability to calculate medication dosages accurately, including liquid medications and injections Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 25 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds regularly Ability to work a part-time schedule with flexibility for shift assignments Must be able to complete pre-placement requirements What You Bring•Preferred Prior skilled nursing facility experience Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience in a long-term care or SNF setting Familiarity with electronic health records and nursing documentation software Experience with geriatric care, wound care, or dementia care BLS or CPR certification About ShareSTAFF ShareSTAFF connects nursing, behavioral health, and allied health professionals with travel and contract assignments at hospitals, state facilities, and healthcare organizations nationwide.
