Where You'll Work Bruceville Terrace has been providing quality, compassionate care since 1989. Licensed as the 171-bed sub-acute skilled nursing facility of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Bruceville Terrace offers care for the elderly, as well as those requiring extended recoveries. Bruceville Terrace provides skilled nursing, rehabilitative and complex medical services to our patients and residents using an interdisciplinary team approach. Over half of the facility is dedicated to skilled nursing/convalescent care, while the remaining beds are committed to meet the medical and rehabilitative needs of the short-term patient after a stay at the acute care hospital.

One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Skilled Nursing Manager, you will manage the resources and daily activities of a nursing department while ensuring environmental factors support high standards of patient care. You will assist in the training and development of new and existing staff members. Every day, you will create and maintain an environment that is conducive to learning transfer. You will also coordinate the activities of the unit for each shift and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff. Schedules nursing staff to specific shifts, taking into account past utilization trends. Measures employee performance. Assists in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members. Coordinates the activities of the unit during a particular shift and directs, organizes, and assigns work to the nursing staff. Assesses, monitors, and educates the nursing staff on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary. Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis. Job Requirements Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or equivalent education and experience Minimum of three (3) years experience in nursing experience Minimum of one (1) years of leadership experience California Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
