Interim Director of Nursing & Clinical Services Needed in San Leandro, California! The Position An Interim Director of Nursing & Clinical Services is needed to direct and coordinate nursing department functions and assigned clinical operations within an acute care and LTAC environment. Reporting to executive leadership, this leader will oversee nursing and clinical operations while ensuring compliance with organizational, regulatory, and medical staff standards. Key responsibilities include developing departmental goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; overseeing clinical and financial operations related to nursing care areas; ensuring compliance with legal and accreditation standards; and supporting administrative leadership with overall hospital operations. The ideal candidate will have recent Director of Nursing experience within an acute care or LTAC setting, along with strong operational and clinical leadership expertise. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements Master's Degree required; degree in nursing or a healthcare-related field preferred. Active California RN license required. Minimum of three years of recent Director of Nursing experience in an acute care or LTAC setting required. $160,000 to $170,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
