We have a network of clinics, Early Head Start centers, and mobile clinics, plus an expansive street medicine program to reach people experiencing homelessness. Take on an important role, while making a difference in the community, as a Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse Supervisor with our Venice Family Clinic's Simms/Mann Health and Wellness Center. The Sr. LVN Supervisor will be responsible for: Providing guidance and support to the medical assistant staff. Performing a variety of patient care activities, such as administering injections and medications, monitoring patients' blood pressure, changing bandages, inserting catheters, and assisting with bathing or dressing. Helping with any problem solving needs that arise for clinic operations. Performing supervisory duties such as time sheet corrections/approvals, scheduling and approving time off, performance evaluations, and interviewing/training staff. This role will also perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned.
