Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing management experience with three years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
License:
Must be licensed in good standing as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
Certifications:
Current BLS required.
Must-Have:
Must have completed a program of education in nursing from an NLN approved institution. BSN required, MSN or Master's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
Description:
Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the overall clinical nursing practice of the Outpatient Clinics on a daily basis. Works closely with other members of the Outpatient Clinics Management Team to develop superior Family Medicine Clinics for the area served. Cooperates with healthcare professionals in all departments to provide quality and cost-effective care. Fully supports the Mission Statement of the organization. Knowledge of regulatory agency standards related to healthcare organizations is required. Cognitive and technical knowledge is necessary with the ability to manage care across the continuum of care. Must be flexible with work schedule and possess the ability for independent actions within prescribed limits.
