Job Summary:
The Nursing Supervisor is accountable for overseeing nurse staffing and hospital operations on nights; plans organize, and supports staff to provide comprehensive patient care on all shifts; evaluates care and ensures customer satisfaction and quality outcomes; facilitates patient flow activities, provides leadership in clinical problem solving, and serves as patient advocate and physician liaison; maintains clinical skills and knowledge necessary to meet organizational standards.
Qualifications:
ASN required BSN or Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field preferred Within five (5) years of hire, and as a condition of continued employment, ASN nurse must earn a BSN Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field or higher (i.e., Master's degree, MSN) Minimum of two (2) years of acute or long term acute care experience required Supervisory or leadership experience preferred Current CT RN license required Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required Current ACLS Certification or must obtain within eighteen (18) months of hire in position
WORK SCHEDULE
24 hours/week, nights (11:15 pm-7:15 am), 2 12 hour shifts
