Job Description

Excelcare at Lewes is seeking a Weekend Nurse Supervisor (RN) who will oversee daily clinical operations and ensure the delivery of high quality, resident centered care. The Nurse Supervisor provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff, supports care planning and regulatory compliance, and helps maintain smooth coordination across the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts Ensure accurate documentation, proper medication administration and compliance with resident care plane Provide direct patient care as needed and respond promptly to medical emergencies Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians and the interdisciplinary team Maintain staff compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations Promote a positive, team oriented work environment through leadership and mentorship Assist with staff evaluations, training and quality improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For:
Current Registered Nurse ( RN ) in the state Lead and support nursing staff during assigned shifts Ensure accurate documentation, medication administration, and care plan compliance Provide direct care and respond to emergencies as needed Communicate with residents, families, physicians, and the care team Maintain regulatory and policy compliance Support staff development and quality improvement Excelcare is an equal opportunity employer.
