Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Charge Nurse/RN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and home community care. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing treatment protocols to ensure optimal health outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while monitoring for effectiveness and side effects. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across various settings, including medical offices and acute care facilities. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Participate in health coaching initiatives to promote wellness within the community. Stay current with medical terminology and best practices in nursing to enhance patient care delivery. Skills Strong knowledge of hospital protocols and procedures, particularly in medical-surgical environments. Experience in home community care settings is highly desirable. Proficient in acute pain management techniques and interventions. Familiarity with medical imaging processes is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and professionalism in all patient interactions. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and care planning. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being capable of independent decision-making when necessary. $34.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
