This position is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, takes initiative, and wants to become an integral part of a growing practice. As a small business, every team member has the opportunity to make a real impact, develop new skills, and help shape the future of the practice. You'll work directly alongside the owner and provider, gaining experience that extends well beyond a traditional outpatient nursing role. If you're looking for a place where your ideas matter, your work is appreciated, and you can grow professionally while making a meaningful difference in your community, we'd love to meet you. Schedule Full-time preferred (32-40 hours/week). Part-time (approximately 24 hours/week) will be considered for an exceptional candidate. Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Opportunity for advancement into a Lead Clinical or Practice Management role. Position Summary The Lead Clinical LPN plays a vital role in both patient care and daily clinic operations. This position requires excellent clinical skills, outstanding customer service, strong critical thinking, and the ability to work independently. We're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, anticipates needs, and enjoys helping build an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities Welcome and room patients while providing exceptional customer service. Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints. Prepare patients for examinations and assist the provider with procedures. Administer medications and injections within the LPN scope of practice. Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, EKGs, and point-of-care testing. Start and monitor IV infusions (IV Therapy Certification preferred or willingness to obtain). Assist with occupational health services including drug testing, breath alcohol testing, DOT physicals, and work-related examinations (training provided). Educate patients regarding medications, treatment plans, wellness services, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record. Maintain inventory, stock exam rooms, and ensure clinic readiness each day. Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols. Assist with front-office duties as needed, including scheduling, phones, and patient check-in/check-out. Help identify opportunities to improve workflow and patient experience. Be willing to jump in wherever needed to support the team and the practice. Required Qualifications Current Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing. Current BLS/CPR certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR). Who Will Thrive Here This position is for someone who: Naturally takes initiative without waiting to be told what to do. Loves building relationships with patients. Enjoys learning new skills and wearing multiple hats. Is dependable and understands the importance of showing up every day ready to work. Thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day is different. Believes no task is beneath them if it helps the team or the patient. Wants to help build something—not simply work another nursing job. Takes pride in providing outstanding patient care. This position is probably not a good fit if you prefer highly structured environments where every task is assigned or if you're looking for a role with limited responsibility. Professional Development Flash Wellness believes in investing in our team. We provide opportunities for additional certifications, cross-training, and continued professional development as our services continue to expand. Why Join Flash Wellness? Monday-Friday schedule No nights, weekends, or major holidays Small, supportive team Diverse patient population and variety in your daily work Opportunity to learn new clinical skills Direct mentorship from the practice owner Significant autonomy and opportunity for growth The chance to help shape a growing medical practice from the inside out If you're dependable, motivated, and excited to become an essential part of a growing healthcare practice, we'd love to hear from you.
