The 50-bed AdventHealth Celebration Health Emergency Department is the busiest in Osceola County , proudly serving a diverse patient population. Located near world-renowned tourist attractions, our team frequently cares for international guests , requiring exceptional communication and care. Success in our department is driven by a team-oriented culture , where collaboration, adaptability, and a shared passion for patient care ensure excellence in a fast-paced emergency environment . Our department offers three levels of emergency care — acute, intermediate, and fast-track —with distinct treatment areas designed for both minor and major emergencies , ensuring optimal coverage and efficient patient flow. Team members at Celebration take pride in being part of an award-winning department , honored with the ENA Lantern Award for excellence in innovation, patient safety, and quality care . As part of the AdventHealth network , our nurses and team members have the opportunity to float among multiple Celebration Emergency Department locations , including our Main Campus Pediatrics and three freestanding EDs . PM Job Description:
Perform venous access procedures within the scope of RN licensure, ensuring proper technique and patient safety. Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments, adjusting care plans based on patient responses and needs. Assess patients' conditions to determine appropriate venous access methods and address any complications. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients requiring venous access and infusion therapy. Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance. Monitor performance of nursing staff, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and implement improvement plans to ensure clinical and professional standards are met. Foster professional growth by identifying training needs, organizing educational programs, and mentoring staff to enhance their skills and career progression. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
Associate's of Nursing [Required] Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
Work Experience:
Charge nurse or relevant leadership experience. [Preferred] Nursing experience within the acute care setting [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) [Required] Basic Life Support•CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
