  • 120,000/year based on experience We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager to lead daily operations, staffing, quality, and patient-centered care in a busy, high-acuity acute care Emergency Department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ED RN leader who is ready to make a direct impact on clinical outcomes, staff development, and department performance. Position Highlights

  • Salary: $100K
  • 120K/year
  • Day shift with rotating weekends
  • Leadership support may be required across evenings, nights, and weekends
  • 32 main ED beds + 11 Care Path beds
  • Approximately 130 patients per day
  • High-acuity Emergency Department
  • Approximately 55 FTE direct reports , including 4 Clinical Nurse Coordinators
  • Relocation assistance considered case-by-case

  • Oversee daily Emergency Department operations, staffing, and nursing practice
  • Ensure high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, quality metrics, and regulatory compliance
  • Manage admissions, discharges, patient flow, and department throughput
  • Ensure appropriate staffing based on patient acuity and department needs
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 55 FTEs
  • Coach, mentor, and provide performance feedback to nursing staff
  • Identify training and professional development opportunities
  • Support employee engagement, retention, and recruitment
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing leaders, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Address patient concerns and support service recovery initiatives
  • Manage department scheduling, productivity, supplies, and operating expenses
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Support accreditation, benchmarking, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of recent, strong acute care Emergency Department experience
  • 2-3+ years of recent and consistent ED leadership experience preferred
  • Assistant Nurse Manager, Nurse Supervisor, Manager, or comparable leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong Charge Nurse experience may be considered
  • Active RN license in the state of practice or compact RN license
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • BLS required
  • PALS or ENPC required
  • ACLS preferred
  • TNCC preferred
  • NRP preferred
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention preferred
