Nurse Clinic Manager (LPN/RN) - Interventional Pain & Regenerative Medicine Full-Time | In-Office | Palm Harbor, FL 34684 | $55,000 - $80,000/year based on licensure & experience + Quarterly bonuses If you're the nurse who can run a sterile procedure room in the morning, calm a frightened patient by lunch, and go toe-to-toe with an insurance adjuster by 3pm — without breaking a sweat — this role was built for you. Gulf Coast PainCare is a boutique, single-physician practice in Palm Harbor built around a simple idea: patients deserve real relief, not just a prescription pad. We specialize in interventional pain procedures, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and non-opioid regenerative treatments — PRP therapy, MLS Laser, Shockwave therapy, and advanced nerve blocks and radiofrequency ablation. Our patients often walk in unable to stand, sit, or sleep through the night, and walk out with their lives back.
Our reviews say it best:
patients call our team "outstanding," "detail-oriented," and "equally professional" to our physician — and we intend to keep it that way. We are looking for an experienced Nurse Clinic Manager — a working LPN or RN who can lead procedure-day clinical care and run the business side of a small practice with equal confidence. This is a true dual-role position in a small, high-touch clinic: part charge nurse, part practice administrator, all leadership. You'll be the clinical backbone and the operational engine of this office, working directly alongside the physician-owner and financial officer. We welcome applications from both LPNs and RNs — licensure level and years of experience will determine scope of clinical duties and final compensation.
WHY YOU'LL WANT THIS JOB
✓ A true seat at the table — direct input on clinical protocols, staffing, and how the practice is run and grown, working side-by-side with the physician-owner and financial officer. ✓ Real variety: hands-on clinical involvement in interventional and regenerative procedures, not a desk job disconnected from patient care. ✓ A mission-driven, non-opioid focused practice you can be proud to represent in the community. ✓ A small, tight-knit team where your work is visible and valued — not lost in a big hospital system. ✓ Real growth potential and the chance to scale our solid reputation in the community.
TOP 10 MOST VALUABLE RESPONSIBILITIES
This role carries real weight, spanning both clinical leadership and practice operations: 1. Clinical Oversight of Procedures — Provide skilled LPN/RN support for interventional pain procedures (fluoroscopically-guided injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation) and regenerative treatments (PRP, MLS Laser, Shockwave), ensuring safety, sterile technique, and patient comfort throughout. 2. Clinical Staff Supervision & Scope-of-Practice Oversight — Hire, train, and supervise medical assistants and clinical support staff; delegate appropriately within your own licensure scope of practice (LPN or RN) and hold the clinical team accountable to standards of care. 3. Revenue Cycle Ownership — Oversee the full cycle from charge entry through claim submission, payment posting, denials, and appeals — protecting the financial health of the practice. 4. Multi-Payer Insurance Billing — Manage accurate billing and collections across commercial insurance, Medicare, Personal Injury Protection (PIP), and workers' compensation claims, including clinical documentation to support medical necessity. 5. Compliance, Infection Control & Quality Assurance — Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, and infection-control compliance; maintain sterile processing standards, medication and controlled-substance protocols, and accurate clinical documentation. 6. Prior Authorizations & Utilization Review — Secure timely authorizations for interventional procedures and regenerative treatments, using clinical knowledge to support medical necessity documentation and minimize delays in patient care. 7. Patient Triage, Assessment & De-escalation — Perform clinical triage and patient assessments; set the tone for a warm, compassionate patient experience while confidently and calmly resolving clinical or billing concerns. 8. Daily Operations Management — Run the day-to-day flow of the office — scheduling, patient intake, provider workflow, and vendor and supply management — so the physician can focus on patient care. 9. Financial Reporting & KPI Tracking — Monitor collections, A/R aging, denial rates, and clinical productivity metrics; report findings and recommendations directly to the physician-owner. 10. Practice Growth & Protocol Building — Build and refine clinical protocols, office policies, and workflows as the practice grows — this is a true "build it with us" role, not a maintain-the-status-quo role.
WHAT YOU BRING
Active, unencumbered Florida LPN or RN license in good standing. Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated success in a clinical management role, including direct experience hiring, training, and managing a small clinical team (years required scale with licensure level — see Education & Licensure section below). Solid, working knowledge of revenue cycle management from charge to collection. Experience in pain management, physical medicine & rehabilitation, brain injury medicine, neurology, or orthopedics — you understand this patient population, its procedures, and this specialty's billing complexity. Hands-on experience billing commercial insurance, Medicare, PIP, and workers' compensation claims. Prior experience helping build or grow a practice — you've done more than maintain someone else's system. Comfort assisting with or overseeing interventional procedures and in-office regenerative treatments. A genuinely warm, bubbly, people-first personality — patients should feel cared for from the moment they walk in. The backbone to stay calm, firm, and professional in tense clinical or administrative moments with patients, staff, or payers.
