• Requirements:

• + RN (Registered Nurse) License + RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice
• CCRN, CDN or CNN + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing OR BS Healthcare related field OR an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion + 2-years' RN experience in the ICU in an Acute Care setting + BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association + ACLS certification with the American Heart Association The
• Charge Registered Nurse
• ICU•responsibilities and skills: + Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of ICU patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards + Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team + Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care + Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.

+ Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition + Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients + Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge + High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient + Professional accountability and development + Acts as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team + Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information _Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled_
