$33.49 - $48.50/hour Job Summary Seeking an experienced Day Surgery Charge RN to coordinate and support nursing operations within a day surgery unit. The RN will provide leadership, oversee patient care and throughput, support staff, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee nursing care and daily operations during the assigned shift. Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and efficient patient throughput. Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care services. Serve as a clinical resource and support effective teamwork among staff. Assist with staff scheduling based on patient care needs. Support staff training, development, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Promote patient satisfaction and support service recovery when needed. Assist with inventory control and management of supplies and equipment. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental performance goals. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree in Nursing required. 3-5 years of Pre-Op RN experience required. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
