As an RN Supervisor, you are responsible for the overall operation and optimal quality of care for the residents on the assigned unit. Responsibilities of the
RN Supervisor:
Contacts the resident's physician and family to notify them of a change in the resident's condition or accident/incident; also notifies the supervisor covering. Assumes all responsibilities of the RN Supervisor in his/her absence or as directed by theDNS/ADNS.
Assumes independent responsibility for completing the required routine documentation and auditing as required. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to lead and motivate the team. Comply with all state requirements and facility policies, procedures and standards of conduct. Have the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to the individualized needs. Guides the staff and ensures tasks are being completed. Monitors and reports changes in residents' symptoms and behavior. Communicates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team and or physicians. Reports to the Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with hospital health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and able to handle stress Submit your application and join our award-winning team!Job Type:
