Responsible for the administrative and operational management of assigned departments, including finance, human resources, quality of care, clinical outcomes, and staff and patient satisfaction. Acts as part of the management team to promote the mission, vision, and values, emphasizing person- and family-centered care while driving value-based outcomes. Oversees succession planning, talent identification, and leadership development, supporting future nursing leaders. May assist in staffing to ensure clinical care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Responsibilities:
Manage departmental operations, costs, and resources. Enhance quality of care, clinical outcomes, and satisfaction metrics. Participate in governance and promote organizational values. Support staff development and succession planning. Assist in staffing to provide clinical services across patient populations.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years of hospital or clinical nursing experience, including at least 1 year in leadership. Demonstrated clinical competency in relevant specialty. Current RN licensure in Georgia or multistate license; BCLS certification.
