The Skilled Nursing Facility serves individuals who are profound to severely developmentally disabled and in need of a skilled nursing level of care.

- Registered Nurse Supervisor Job Responsibilities Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff.
Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for an assigned unit or shift. Ensures nursing staff properly assess patient health problems and needs. Develops and implements nursing care plans and ensures accurate maintenance of medical records. Supervises the provision and quality of nursing care provided to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Provides guidance to nursing staff regarding patient care, policies, procedures, and appropriate clinical practices. Advises patients regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment planning as appropriate. May provide case management services. Assists with coordinating staffing, assignments, and daily nursing operations for the assigned shift or unit. Ensures nursing services are provided in accordance with established standards, policies, and applicable regulations. Qualifications Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse. Experience working with patients with G/J tubes, tracheostomies, and seizure disorders. Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing. Experience working with individuals with mental health and/or developmental disabilities preferred. Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university and a current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse, plus four (4) years of professional nursing experience, including two (2) years in a lead worker, team leader, managerial, or supervisory role; OR One (1) year of experience at the lower level Registered Nurse 3 (HCP072) or an equivalent position. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university. Previous Charge Nurse, Lead Nurse, or nursing supervisory experience. Experience working in a behavioral health, psychiatric, hospital, or long-term care setting. Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and direction to nursing staff. Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and patient-care skills.
