Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and coordinate nursing care within our healthcare facility. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various nursing disciplines, including acute care, long-term care, behavioral health, and specialized areas. Duties Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care aligned with facility policies and healthcare regulations Coordinate daily clinical operations across multiple departments, including units, or long-term care settings Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as PCC-Point Click Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times Facilitate interdisciplinary communication among physicians, therapists, case managers, and support staff to optimize patient treatment plans Conduct performance evaluations and manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts Lead incident investigations, infection control protocols, and quality improvement initiatives to uphold safety standards Qualifications Valid RN (Registered Nurse) license with current state certification Proven supervisory or nurse management experience in acute care environments such as hospitals or trauma centers Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate medical documentation and data management Experience working with diverse patient populations including, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, conflict resolution, and staff development Ability to perform physical examinations, venipuncture, catheterization, IV insertion/infusion techniques, tube feeding management and sterile processing procedures Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques in various clinical settings such as CDC guidelines. Certifications in basic life support (BLS), advanced cardiovascular life support and other relevant specialties preferred Join us to lead a compassionate team committed to delivering outstanding patient-centered care. Pay:
$38.99 - $46.96 per hour
