Station Exchange Senior Care is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Wellness Director to lead our comprehensive wellness programs within our senior living community. This person MUST be a licensed R.N. in Georgia. The Wellness Director role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing initiatives that promote our senior residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being. The Wellness Director will collaborate closely with healthcare team, management, residents, and families to ensure personalized care plans are executed effectively. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' quality of life while demonstrating strong leadership and management skills. Responsibilities Develop and coordinate holistic wellness programs tailored to residents' needs, including physical activity, mental health support, and social engagement activities. Supervise nursing staff and care teams to ensure adherence to care plans, medical records documentation, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Oversee the management of medical records, documentation review, and ensure accurate updates within EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems. Collaborate with nursing administration to monitor resident's (personal health information), MDS (Minimum Data Set assessments), and care plans aligned with Medicare guidelines. Lead shift management by supervising nursing management activities, and ensuring high-quality resident care during all hours. Maintain a thorough understanding of physiology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology to support effective communication with healthcare providers. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to assisted living, nursing home experience, hospice care, home health services, and acute care settings. Requirements Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong background in nursing administration or nurse management. Supervising experience in healthcare settings such as home health or hospice care is highly desirable. Familiarity with care plans development and assessments for residents requiring specialized services like Medicare or hospice care. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage caregivers effectively across shifts while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent understanding of HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy relevant to senior healthcare. Demonstrated ability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams ensuring resident-centered care that meets regulatory standards. $59,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
