Job Description

Job Summary:
The Oncology RN Clinical Coordinator is responsible for making daily operational decisions, serving as point of contact for providers and clinic staff, and serving as a clinical liaison between Gritman OP infusion and Palouse Oncology and Hematology clinic. Salary is based on experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Licensed RN in the State of Idaho 2+ years of medical management experience Oncology experience and ONS licensure, preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinic Operations Research/Write/Review and Approve all Oncology Infusion Policies & Procedures within the
ONS & ASCO
Guidelines/Standards of Care Understand and implement PSP Oncology and Gritman Infusion policies and procedures Manage and delegate the agreed upon workflow processes for the Infusion department Ensures short and long-term work projects and objectives are met Complete and submit grant applications accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all required clinical and financial documentation is included Serve as liaison between Palouse Specialty Physicians and Gritman Medical Center Lead weekly infusion/pharmacy meeting Lead infusion meeting a minimum of 1 time per month Work as Infusion RN a minimum of 1 day per week Schedule and communicate drug representative visits Staff Management Participate in the hiring, training, development and evaluation of staff Address concerns of staff and coach staff on work and/or behavior improvement Development of nurse education and mentoring program Arrange work schedules and/or coverage for employee PTO requests, approve or deny as required; Manage and correct employee hours Motivate and encourage staff to demonstrate professional standards set forth by the company Administration Support Evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of clinic staff and processes, propose solutions when needed Serve as liaison between administration and staff, deliver clear communication from administration to staff and providers Develop proposals to improve clinic efficiency Attend and engage in monthly administrative meetinge Organize and send invoices to administrative assistant for processing
