Job Summary Meadowbrook Manor of Bolingbrook is looking for a Wound (RN) Director to join our team. Being the Wound Care Director and as a part of our care team, you'll bring your strong customer service and interpersonal skills to interact with our residents, families, physicians, and other members of our multidisciplinary team. You must also possess the ability to pass medication and provide technical nursing care, recognize significant signs and symptoms of disease; demonstrate mastery of nursing procedures; and have CPR certification.
Job Description:
Daily wound care/treatments Addresses daily skin tears, rashes, pressure areas, changes in skin condition, follows up with new orders, treatment plans and assessments. Change plan of care as needed, communicate changes/recommendations to attending physician and staff. Responsible for Care Plans, MDS assessments and wound care documentation Perform admission assessments. Update Care Plans with each MDS assessment.
Job Requirements:
RN license issued by the State of Illinois - Unencumbered CPR Certified Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years Wound Care Nursing experience. Wound Care Certification. Must have excellent assessment skills.
