Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing staff, providing resident care, and communicating with residents, families, physicians, and healthcare providers to meet residents' needs.
Primary Duties:
  • Ensure quality care through ongoing assessments and interventions
  • Assist in care planning to promote residents' health and independence
  • Supervise and evaluate nursing staff
  • Communicate with healthcare providers to coordinate care
  • Maintain documentation and records
  • Assist with staff evaluations, orientation, and resident/family education
  • Manage staffing shortages and coordinate admissions
  • Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
  • Participate in meetings and provide resident coverage
Requirements:
  • Valid Illinois RN license
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work 24-40 hours, including every other weekend and holidays
  • Physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Knowledge of infection control and PPE use
