https://www.luc.edu/hr/benefits/ The Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing (MNSON) invites applications for a clinical track faculty position focused on oversight of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Track of the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. This is a non-tenure track open rank position for appointment at the clinical assistant rank or higher based on the applicant's program of scholarship and teaching experience. As Director of the PMHNP track of the DNP program, this is a 20% administrative and 80% teaching/scholarship/service position with 9-month faculty teaching responsibilities and a 12-month administrative contract. Within the context of the Loyola University Chicago and MNSON missions, visions, values, and strategic initiatives, the Director of the PMHNP Track collaborates with the Assistant Dean of Graduate Clinical Programs to promote graduate student learning, professional role preparation and development, curriculum quality and integrity, and inclusive excellence for the PMHNP track within the DNP program. As faculty, the director will: Teach in undergraduate and graduate programs as appropriate to expertise and program needs Employ a variety of teaching/learning strategies in classroom, online, laboratory, and clinical settings Collaborate with faculty on curriculum and course planning, improvement, and evaluation Develop and disseminate scholarship that advances nursing practice and education Engage in service activities consistent with the mission and strategic vision of the MNSON, University, and nursing profession Contribute to the MNSON and University goals for inclusive excellence and antiracism Qualifications See Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Physical Demands None Working Conditions None Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Candidates will possess: Doctoral degree in nursing or a related field Eligible for Illinois licensure as a Registered Nurse Eligible for Illinois licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Certified Nurse Practitioner Certification as a PMHNP Potential to establish and maintain a program of scholarship, consistent with the expectations of rank. Current practice as a PMHNP with an expectation to continue practice Eligible for appointment at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor or higher Open Date 07/01/2026 Close Date Salary Range $80,000-$124,000 Additional Salary Information This salary range is for a nine-month academic appointment. As PMHNP Track Director, an administrative stipend will be added for a twelve-month service basis. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree; training; field or discipline; budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
