Essential Job Duties:
Performs RN job responsibilities and participates in patient care improvement committees. Holds 24-hour accountability for unit management, staff development, and compliance with education. Provides guidance for staff in patient care, monitors quality, and communicates effectively. Manages the unit, including budget input, staffing, supervision, and employee appraisals. Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies, coordinates performance improvement, and guides staff on ethical issues.
Qualifications:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program - Baccalaureate degree. Two years successful experience as a staff nurse. Management experience preferred
License/Certification:
Currently licensed by the Health Professions Service Bureau, Indiana State Board of Nurses as a Registered Nurse.
