Emergency Room Nurse Manager

Overview + Health, dental, and vision insurance options + Paid vacation, sick time and holidays + Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options + Employer 401K options + Tuition reimbursement options + Life, disability, and other insurance options + Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities As our Emergency Room RN Manager, you will need to provide 24/7 accountability of the team! + Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department including patient flow, staffing coverage, and overall efficiency + Supervise, support, and develop ER nursing staff through coaching, scheduling, performance reviews, and competency assessments + Ensure adherence to clinical standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements such as Joint Commission and state requirements + Works closely with physicians, charge nurses, and other departments to coordinate care during high volume periods, trauma activations, codes, and other emergencies + Monitor key quality metrics like wait times, left without being seen rates, patient satisfaction scores, and clinical outcomes to drive improvement + Manag e budgets, supplies, and department resources to maintain safe, cost effective operations + Lead or participate in training, onboarding, continuing education, and emergency preparedness initiatives + Support patient safety by reinforcing best practices for triage, documentation, medication administration, and emergency protocols Qualifications
