General Job Summary:

The RN is considered a leader in providing quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act. Nursing Job Description:

A Registered Nurse provides patent care effectively using the Nursing Process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act. The RN effectively delegates, directs and assist other clinical licensed staff and ancillary team members. The RN assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes.

Job Duties:

The RN provides direct patient care based on the physician's orders RN's conducts assessments, evaluations, and monitors patient's treatment plans RN's implements teaching strategies appropriate for the diverse needs of each patient RN's effectively communicate and collaborate with other medical professionals The RN actively participates in the Interdisciplinary Team meetings RN educates patients and their families The RN completes other related duties as required The above statements are only a general outline of duties for the RN position.
