Duties Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during weekend shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of care Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews Oversee medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, and tube feeding protocols in accordance with nursing policies Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state healthcare regulations, and long-term care regulations while maintaining accurate medical documentation Manage emergency situations such falls with major injury and providing critical decision-making support Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and utilization review processes Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like PCC for documentation and data entry Skills Proven experience in Long Term Care. Skilled in managing complex patient care including dementia care, behavioral health and geriatrics.
