Job Description

Charge Nurse LPN or RN Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse LPN or RN to join our team at Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Danvers, MA. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to our residents while overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department. Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel on assigned shifts to maintain continuity of nursing care Make rounds on nursing units to ensure maximum care and to ascertain condition of residents Respond to emergencies within the facility and provide medical oversight Verify that all clinical changes are reported to the physician and verify physicians' orders as needed Secure pre-admission report on new residents and ensure a safe environment for residents and staff Conduct chart audits and ensure all documentation on medical records is complete and accurate Assume supervisor responsibility for the facility on 2nd and/or 3rd shifts and/or weekends Perform other related duties as may be deemed necessary by Supervisor/Administrator and/or
Director Requirements:
Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Massachusetts Minimum of one year of education or experience in geriatric nursing or rehabilitation preferred CPR certified Ability to read, write, and comprehend English; ability to follow oral and written instructions Fluent knowledge of the MS Office suite and other office equipment Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position assignment Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work involving frequent bending, stooping, turning, stretching, and reaching above the shoulders Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics/equipment that will enable these senses to function adequately Ability to move intermittently throughout the day, proper body mechanics required

Follows and complies with all State and Federal regulations as well as established Personnel Policies and Procedures. Maintains all pertinent records in a timely, efficient, and confidential manner.
