We are searching for a talented Endoscopy (GI) Nurse Manager The Endoscopy (GI) Nurse Manager oversees daily operations of the Endoscopy departments across St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA and Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA, ensuring high‑quality, efficient, and patient‑centered care. This leadership role is responsible for managing staffing needs, including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance evaluations. The manager monitors fiscal reports and responds to variances, controls supply usage and costs, maintains regulatory and safety standards, performs quality audits and coordinates procedure block scheduling to support optimal patient flow. Additional responsibilities include planning and leading staff meetings, fostering team development, presenting at meetings, and collaborating with physicians and hospital leadership to support service growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities:
Under general direction of the Director, Associate Chief Nursing Officer and Site Administrator or designee, provide 24 hours leadership for clinical nursing practice of all ages or individually assigned units. Responsible for supervising assigned patient care staff, allocation of assigned staff and material resources to effect quality patient care outcome.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required. Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required. BLS Certification is required. A minimum of five (5) years related work experience and three (3) years supervisory experience is required. Current Certification in perioperative practice area preferred (CNOR, ASPAN, ABCGN) or obtain within 6 months of hire.
Pay Range:
USD $112,195.20 - USD $212,804.80 /Yr.
