Job Description

Job Summary Pine Knoll Nursing Center is seeking a strong Nurse Manager with experience in a long term care setting. This schedule has flexible hours. We are a small private family owned nursing center well known in the community. Qualifications Current Nursing license in the state of Massachusetts Knowledge of PPC The ability to manage staff & make independent decisions. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Experience with staff scheduling Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients/residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. Must be willing to work harmoniously with professionals and non-professional personnel. Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult patients/residents. Must take the cart as needed.
