Strong leadership skills with proven experience managing nursing teams in complex healthcare environments. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with medical documentation standards. Expertise in managing care within diverse settings such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Familiarity with medical terminology related to geriatrics, behavioral health, dementia care, and pediatric populations including neonatal ventilator management. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments involving vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations. Skilled in medication administration including injections, IV insertion, catheter care, and sterile techniques. Experience working within state healthcare regulations governing long-term care facilities and hospice services. Strong communication skills for effective team supervision, family interactions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
