A successful candidate will be a self-starter who needs minimal supervision to lead vaccine clinics.Job Overview:
ColoVAX LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Lead NP VFC Vaccines for Children Nurse Practitioner to join our Colorado team in Massachusetts. This position plays a crucial role in providing vaccinations to children in accordance with the Vaccines for Children program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric vaccines and be committed to promoting public health and safety. Current NP license with full prescription authority in the State of Massachusetts Lift up to 50 pounds Work outdoors Travel across Massachusetts, including some overnight travel Leadership experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Knowledge of VFC program guidelines and vaccine administration protocols Join us in our mission to protect and promote the health of our community through vaccination.Duties:
Lead mobile vaccine clinics across the State of Massachusetts Administer vaccines to children according to VFC program guidelines Educate parents and caregivers on the importance of vaccinations and proper immunization schedules Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Adhere to all regulatory requirements and best practices in vaccine administration Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring high quality patient care Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including nurses and administrative staff Collaborate with others to ensure effective communication and patient care Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as needed Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient informationSkills:
Proficient in the use of electronic health records for vaccines Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to effectively manage a team of healthcare professionals Attention to detail and strong organizational skills •Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.Job Types:
