The Nurse Manager role combines nursing care, health coordination, medication oversight, staff support, and documentation review to help ensure safe, person-centered, and compliant services.   • Provide and document nursing services in accordance with provider orders, agency policies, and DDS-related requirements.
  • Monitor health status, follow up on medical concerns, and coordinate routine, specialty, and urgent care for individuals served within our 8 residential programs and 2 Independent Living programs.
  • Oversee medication administration systems and support compliance with MAP requirements and documentation standards for residential programs.
  • Maintain accurate health records, nursing notes, physician orders, and follow-up documentation.
  • Participate in ISP meetings and help integrate health needs into person-centered supports.
  • Train and support residential staff on medication administration, health protocols, monitoring signs and symptoms of illness, and recognition of changes in condition.
  • Review records, identify compliance gaps, and support quality improvement, audit readiness, and corrective follow-up.
  • Work as part of the admin team collaborating with program staff and leadership, families, guardians, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Schedule and conduct routine MAP trainings; both full trainings and recertifications. Qualifications
  • Current and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must have 2 years of experience working as an RN.
  • Experience in DDS, residential, community-based, developmental services, behavioral health, or related human-services settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of MAP requirements, clinical documentation standards, and healthcare record review.
  • Familiarity with ISP processes, person-centered planning, and regulatory compliance in residential services.
  • Strong assessment, organizational, communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
Schedule Full-time, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility based on program needs. Some evening availability, local travel, and on participation in on call responsibilities required.
Pay:
$47.50
