As a Unit Manager at Skilled Nursing Facility you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to residents seeking rehabilitation and long-term care in Annapolis, Maryland. Located on beautiful grounds, our center is dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and their families. About the
Role:
As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing care team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and compassion. You will collaborate with our medical director, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans, provide leadership and guidance to your team, and ensure that our high standards of care are consistently met.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of nursing professionals in providing skilled nursing care to residents
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the medical director and nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of resident care, making recommendations for improvement as needed
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, mentoring and coaching to foster professional growth and development
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including rehabilitation therapists and medical providers, to ensure comprehensive care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary
