Oakland Surgi Center is looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to lead an exceptional team and to help us continue to grow into a best-in-class outpatient surgical center. Oakland Surgi Center is a physician-owned ASC and not affiliated with a hospital. We offer perks not available in a hospital setting. The right candidate for this role will be able to lead and manage others well, be detail oriented, and have a dedication to safe and quality patient care.

Primary duties and responsibilities include:

Overseeing daily operations of a busy ASC Ensuring appropriate staffing for the facility Monitoring compliance with policies and standards of care Facilitating effective communication between and among providers and staff Working with QA/PI team to develop and implement QI projects Supporting adequate supply chain management Coordinating with Medical Director, Facility Administrator and Business Office Manager to improve patient satisfaction, increase regulatory compliance and facilitate a positive, healthy environment Minimum requirements: Hold a current State of Michigan Registered Nursing license Have a current BLS and ACLS certification, or be willing to obtain (PALS not required) At least 5 Years of management experience At least 2 Years of critical care nursing experience Have the ability to pass a background investigation Preferred qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Experience working in or managing an ambulatory surgical center Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements Pain management experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Use of electronic medical records
