Job Description

Oakland Surgi Center is looking for an experienced Nurse Manager to lead an exceptional team and to help us continue to grow into a best-in-class outpatient surgical center. Oakland Surgi Center is a physician-owned ASC and not affiliated with a hospital. We offer perks not available in a hospital setting. We're open Monday through Friday; no weekends, overnights or holidays . We have the opportunity to get to know our patients personally and take a leading role in their care. We have a loyal, dedicated clinical team who have worked together for years to provide the highest levels of patient care and safety. Oakland Surgi Center also holds Joint Commission accreditation and is fully certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and licensed by the State of Michigan. The right candidate for this role will be able to lead and manage others well, be detail oriented, and have a dedication to safe and quality patient care.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Overseeing daily operations of a busy ASC Ensuring appropriate staffing for the facility Monitoring compliance with policies and standards of care Facilitating effective communication between and among providers and staff Working with QA/PI team to develop and implement QI projects Supporting adequate supply chain management Coordinating with Medical Director, Facility Administrator and Business Office Manager to improve patient satisfaction, increase regulatory compliance and facilitate a positive, healthy environment Minimum requirements: Hold a current State of Michigan Registered Nursing license Have a current BLS and ACLS certification, or be willing to obtain (PALS not required) At least 5 Years of management experience At least 2 Years of critical care nursing experience Have the ability to pass a background investigation Preferred qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing Experience working in or managing an ambulatory surgical center Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements Pain management experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Use of electronic medical records
