Job Description

Our company is looking for an exception leader to manage a great team providing living supports to four wonderful gentlemen residing together in a community residence. A successful candidate will bring strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure effective and quality oversight of day to day operations. This would include familiarity and comfort with providing cares associated with medical complexities. Experience working with individuals diagnosed developmental disabilities, medical cares and full cares is strongly desired. Experience supervising others is extremely beneficial. Sign on bonus is paid upon completion of training/probationary period.
Duties include but limited to:
Supervising, supporting, scheduling and training of all direct support staff Direct care of persons served and assuring all cares are complete and documented. Responsible to implement all licensing requirements and assure standards are met. Respond to emergencies (i.e. consumer safety, hospitalizations, serious injury, staffing issues, and fire) when needed and assure documentation and follow up in regard to incidents are completed. Routinely communicates with family members, guardian, case managers, day placements, medical personnel, and psychologists and provides follow up and documentation in regard to all requests and concerns. Review all nurse consultations and assure follow up is completed. Monitor medication records, medication documentation, and health progress notes. Plan and facilitate Direct Service Professional meetings individually and quarterly or as needed with the full group. On-call duties during hours outside of the typical daytime hours Qualifications include: one year of related experience bachelor or associate degree preferred but will honor exceptional work experience in lieu of degree valid drivers license and insurability that meets company standards background check that meets DHS requirements. excellent verbal and written communication skills Hours are primarily daytime M-F hours with on-call duties required. The successful candidate will possess organizational, leadership, and critical thinking skills. Must be motivated to lead staff in the person-centered delivery of services.
