Guiding Star Wakota is seeking a part-time Nurse Manager to lead and oversee our medical services while providing exceptional, client-centered care in a life-affirming environment. This position offers the opportunity to combine direct patient care with leadership, staff development, and program oversight in a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and families. About Us Guiding Star Wakota is a Catholic, life-affirming women's center committed to providing compassionate medical care, education, and practical support to women and families. Position Summary The Nurse Manager oversees our medical programs, including pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasound services, and Abortion Pill Reversal (APR). Working closely with the Medical Director and Director of Client Services, this role ensures high-quality clinical care, compliance with medical standards, staff training, and excellent client experiences. This position combines hands-on nursing care with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for an RN who enjoys mentoring others while continuing to care for patients.
Responsibilities Responsibilities include:
Providing compassionate nursing care, pregnancy testing, and client education Performing limited obstetrical ultrasounds (training available for the right candidate) Overseeing pregnancy testing, ultrasound, and APR programs Ensuring compliance with medical protocols, quality assurance standards, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements Training and supporting staff on medical procedures and best practices Maintaining medical records, documentation, inventory, and clinical equipment Collaborating with physicians, nurses, client advocates, and other team members to provide seamless client care Participating in staff meetings, organizational initiatives, and community outreach as needed Why Join Guiding Star Wakota?
