Time Critical Diagnosis (TCD)
Coordinator Job Description:
The Time Critical Diagnosis (TCD) Coordinator leads and develops the care process, using a multidisciplinary approach to provide the highest quality care and service to Sepsis, Stroke, STEMI, and Trauma patients. This position will coordinate care across the continuum, including EMS and regional facilities. This role will be responsible for educating and validating the knowledge of ED staff related to TCD processes and policies. In addition, the coordinator will conduct community education seminars within the organization and in targeted outreach areas to increase and promote awareness. The TCD Coordinator will work closely with all members of the care team including the Medical Director of Emergency Services, as well as other physicians. Also, he/she is to lead the state level designation process for Stroke, STEMI and Trauma and entry of data to the State registry database. This role will require the nurse to have current (within last two years) Emergency Department experience. This position will be a full time role (1.0) within the Quality dept.Responsibilities:
Lead designation processes for TCD certifications, Maintain state registry database, educate staff and validate knowledge of TCD processes and policies, Fulfill all principal duties of staff nurse when functioning in that role.Education/Credentials:
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS MO RN
