Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a full-time RN-Charge Nurse, where your leadership and clinical expertise will drive exceptional resident care in our facility. As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality. Your role is vital in fostering a collaborative environment that promotes resident-centered care and continuous improvement. Duties Lead and coordinate nursing staff during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resident outcomes Oversee resident assessments, vital signs, and comprehensive physical examinations using advanced medical terminology Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform aseptic techniques following strict infection control protocols Document all patient care activities accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems) while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia. Skills Extensive experience working with EMR/EHR systems; proficient in medical documentation and medical records management Strong background in specialized nursing areas including long term care, hospice & palliative medicine.
