Northwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center (NWMRMC) is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager - Telemetry/Med-Surgical to lead and support our nursing staff while promoting high-quality patient outcomes. The Nurse Manager provides operational and clinical leadership for the Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units , ensuring safe patient care, staff engagement, regulatory compliance, and efficient unit operations. This position plays a vital role in fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and oversight for daily operations of the Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and clinical excellence Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards Monitor staffing levels and coordinate scheduling to meet patient care needs Promote adherence to infection prevention, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives Participate in recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of nursing staff Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes Monitor and evaluate clinical quality indicators, patient satisfaction, and unit performance metrics Support compliance with DNV, CMS, and other regulatory standards Foster a positive and collaborative work environment Manage unit resources, supplies, and operational budgets as assigned Respond effectively to patient care concerns and operational challenges Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Licensure/Certifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Mississippi or valid Compact State Licensure. Current
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
certification required.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience required. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
