Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff during weekend shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to nursing policies and procedures Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to maintain accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, behavioral health, pediatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, state healthcare laws, long-term care regulations, and OSHA standards for infection control and aseptic technique Manage medication administration, IV infusions, catheter care, tube feeding, and other clinical procedures while maintaining safety protocols like basic life support (BLS) and airway management Conduct staff evaluations, provide mentorship, and facilitate team management to promote professional growth and high morale Participate in discharge planning, utilization review, case management activities, and quality assurance initiatives to optimize patient outcomes Requirements Valid RN license with current state registration; BSN preferred Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems Demonstrated supervisory or nurse management experience in acute or long-term care settings Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, diagnostic evaluation techniques, and medication administration protocols Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with dementia or behavioral health needs Ability to perform physical examinations, venipuncture (phlebotomy), specimen collection/processing, sterile processing techniques and use of medical imaging tools Familiarity with healthcare regulations such as

HIPAA, NCQA
