Job Description

Overview Monday-Friday 7a-330p, On-call rotation every 6 weeks. Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse - Unit Manager, where you will lead and coordinate high-quality patient care within a vibrant clinical setting. This pivotal role combines clinical expertise with leadership skills to oversee daily nursing operations, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and foster a compassionate environment for patients and staff alike. Responsibilities Provide expert supervision and leadership to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and best practices. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and comprehensive physical examinations to deliver accurate and timely care. Lead discharge planning, family communication, and coordination with ancillary services. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards to maintain patient confidentiality and safety. Supervise daily operations within the unit, including staffing schedules, resource allocation, and quality assurance initiatives aligned with CMS standards. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current state certification. Demonstrated leadership or nurse management experience supervising teams of healthcare professionals. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, behavioral health patients, individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs. Knowledge of infection control practices, sterile technique, phlebotomy procedures, and basic life support (BLS). Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
