Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm with the option of working four 10-hour shifts once orientation is complete.
Pay Range:
$44.15 - $66.25 Where you will work: Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute (LCI) CMC Thoracic Oncology Clinic is an outpatient oncology practice that provides comprehensive care for patients with thoracic malignancies, including lung cancer, mesothelioma, thymic malignancies, and other complex thoracic diseases. Our multidisciplinary team includes medical oncologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, pulmonology specialists, and advanced practice providers (APPs) who work collaboratively to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. The clinic is supported by experienced nurses, medical assistants, care coordinators, referral coordinators, and administrative staff dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for patients and families. In addition to providing advanced diagnostic, treatment, and survivorship services, the clinic offers access to clinical trials and specialized programs that support the full continuum of cancer care. This position also provides leadership oversight for the LCI Float Pool, a team of clinical staff who support multiple outpatient oncology specialties across Levine Cancer Institute. The Float Pool partners with clinic leaders to maintain staffing flexibility, support operational needs, and ensure continuity of high-quality patient care across ambulatory oncology practices. Together, the Thoracic Clinic and Float Pool are committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences through collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality, safety, and innovation.
We're Looking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association BSN Previous management experience preferred Previous Oncology experience preferred
What You'll Do:
Shadowing with other RN Clinical Supervisor; shadowing in the sections assigned meeting with leaders across the department for awareness and relationship building Typical day involves focusing on the daily operations, problem solving when needed, providing professional growth and engagement opportunities for the team Participation in department leadership meetings that consider operations, education and program development.
