Our office will be opening soon and is located in the Greensboro, NC 27407 area. This position is PRN (As Needed) or per diem, meaning no full-time hours or part time house hours at this time. You will be paid per task assigned (assessment, care plans, supervisory visit, orientation, etc.) As business picks up there will be a part/full- time offer. All include mileage reimbursement depending on the location. All in office tasks will be paid at your base hourly rate. Key Responsibilities Client Care Management Conduct initial and ongoing in-home assessments to determine client needs and level of care. Develop and update individualized care plans in accordance with the client's condition and goals. Monitor client health status and coordinate care modifications as necessary. Educate clients and families about care plans, medications, and safety protocols. Staff Supervision & Support Supervise and evaluate the performance of PCAs, CNAs, and other direct care staff. Provide hands-on skills training in orientation and ongoing coaching to ensure quality care delivery. Conduct competency evaluations for direct care staff in accordance with NC DHSR standards. Support staff with clinical questions, emergencies, and client concerns. Compliance & Documentation Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical records. Ensure all services meet state regulatory requirements and agency policies. Participate in internal audits and readiness for DHSR inspections. Document care plan changes, staff supervision, and client progress accurately and promptly. Communication & Coordination Collaborate with physicians, family members, and other care providers as needed. Serve as a clinical liaison between the agency, client, and external providers. Participate in case reviews and interdisciplinary team meetings. Duties Supervise daily nursing operations, ensuring high standards of patient care and adherence to hospital policies and state healthcare regulations Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote professional development and maintain team engagement Coordinate patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation with precision and compassion Oversee clinical procedures such as IV infusion, catheter care, tube feeding, sterile processing, and wound suturing while maintaining aseptic techniques Ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy standards and accurate medical records management using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection, medical imaging coordination, and physical examinations Manage discharge planning, case management activities, utilization review, and ensure proper documentation for billing codes such as

ICD-10/ICD-9/CPT

coding Experience Proven supervisory experience in a healthcare setting with strong leadership in nurse management roles Extensive clinical background in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I & II trauma centers; experience in emergency medicine or hospital medicine preferred Demonstrated expertise in diverse nursing fields including geriatrics, behavioral health, pediatrics (including neonatal ventilator management), long-term care, assisted living, dementia care, and home care settings Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and data management Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology concepts, and diagnostic evaluation procedures Experience working within compliance frameworks such as NCQA standards and long-term care regulations Strong understanding of infection control practices, HIPAA regulations, medication administration protocols including injection techniques and IV insertion Ability to manage complex cases involving ventilator management, cardiac catheterization procedures, spinal taps, gastrostomy tube feeding, and other advanced clinical interventions Join us as a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead compassionate patient-centered care while managing a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
