What We Offer:
Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) at Brunswick Medical Center - Med Surg We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) to support our Med Surg department during the evening/night shift. This leadership role is responsible for supporting daily unit operations, assisting nursing staff, and ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Provides clinical and administrative leadership at the unit level.
Responsibilities:
Support and supervise nursing staff during shift operations Assist with patient flow, staffing coordination, and unit support Promote quality patient care and patient satisfaction Provide leadership support and assist with conflict resolution and de-escalation when needed Serve as a resource for team members and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Maintain effective communication with staff, patients, and leadership

What We're Looking For:
Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. BSN, preferred. Graduate Degree, preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications. Additional Skills (required): Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a leader on the unit as well as supporting all clinical staff. Assist with scheduling, educational trainings, coachings, creating new initiatives, etc. Support the Manager and other leadership personnel to foster unit prosperity. Work closely with all staff to improve skills and support of patients. Provide collaborative work with interpersonal teams and communicate effectively across all team members. Assist with any audits within the unit. Serve as a liaison and supportive leader for families served on the unit.
