The RN Manager, Perioperative Services reports to the Senior Director of Surgical Services and will lead an evening position overseeing ORs, pre-op, and PACU, aligning with sterile processing and anesthesia to drive access, quality, and patient experience. Individuals earning quick interviews have over five years of experience in surgical services, proven healthcare leadership, and CNOR certification.

Serving Surgical Services, the RN Manager, Perioperative Services will help anchor a primary acute care hospital that acts as a regional access point while supporting a community-owned, not-for-profit health system with strong local governance and a mission-driven culture. The RN Manager, Perioperative Services thrives amid broad service lines geared to a rural market—emergency, surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, oncology, women's health, and imaging—backed by an integrated provider network of employed physicians and advanced practice providers, a key regional employer with long-standing community presence and workforce stability, and an ongoing emphasis on quality improvement and expanding specialty care access within the region.
Operationally, the RN Manager, Perioperative Services will collaborate with the Senior Director and Director of Surgical Services, anesthesia, surgeons, and clinical education to optimize block time, staffing, scheduling, supply chains, infection prevention, and OR turnover; supported by friendly nurses, surgical technologists, and a diverse interdisciplinary team, the RN Manager, Perioperative Services mentors charge nurses, leads safety huddles and councils, advances accreditation readiness, and champions frontline-driven process improvements.
