This leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality resident care while supporting and guiding the nursing team during the evening shift. In this role, you will collaborate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care from admission through discharge. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans, including medication administration, assessments, wound care, and documentation Supervise and support Nursing Assistants and nursing staff during the shift Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to physicians and appropriate team members Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations Serve as a clinical leader and resource for the nursing team Qualifications Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program Active, unencumbered North Carolina LPN or RN license Current CPR certification Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care preferred What We're Looking For Strong clinical knowledge of long-term care practices and regulations Excellent communication and critical thinking skills Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team Strong organizational and prioritization skills Professional and compassionate approach when working with residents, families, and staff If you are a committed nurse leader looking for a stable evening shift opportunity with a supportive team, we encourage you to apply.
